An Appeal to Joel and Victoria Osteen MICHAEL BROWN –Dear Joel and Victoria, I hope and pray that you will read this letter and that you take to heart the things I’m sharing. I write as a friend wanting to help, not an enemy wanting to hurt, and everything I write, I write out of love for God, love for you, and love for the church and the world.
I have said many times that I’m glad to see your smiling faces on TV as you speak about Jesus rather than some stern-faced, joyless, angry Christian leader. And I believe you genuinely do care about people and want them to find wholeness in the Lord….- An Appeal to Joel and Victoria Osteen by MICHAEL BROWN – Is Joel Osteen a heretic? By Rev. Austin Miles
Is Joel Osteen a heretic? By Rev. Austin Miles – While Brown does not out and out call Joel and Victoria ‘heretics,’ he sneakily and effectively does so by using the age-old trick of employing others to do it for him, or to make others THINK others are saying this so that he will look like a nice guy with concern.
Again, this is all contained in what he purports to be a, “personal” letter, to the Osteen’s, yet he published it in Charisma for all to see. How’s that again? How can a personal letter also be a public letter? So Brown, who purports to be bringing truth to Joel and Victoria, appears to be lacking in the very virtue he is proclaiming.
No surprise here. –Right-wing pastor Mark Creech accuses Pat Robertson of “blasphemy” for rejecting young-earth creationism (Problems in Cracka Zion)!!!
