This isn’t a review, it is a memory!!! The Disney/Get Back to Come Together stuff on TV sparked it I think??? I will eventually Review Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Deluxe (2 CD)!!! I enjoyed kicking this stuff around on the Win 10 Lenovo using the Acer, the Polsen and the ATH M50xs!!! It is hard to explain the impact of this album on a 9 year old 4th grader, but throw in the 1965 Jetstar 88 as the new family ride to complete the memory!!!

OK!!!, I listened to this on the HDTV/Sanyo, using the Aphex and the SIVGA Phoenixs!!!

This CD was excellent, other than the fact that the cover had a crack (I got it used). I thought it got stronger as it went along, despite the fact that Tennis Court leads it off??? I enjoyed it very much!!! I was having a little trouble with the headphone connections till I found out that the 2.5 MM jacks click in??? I’m glad I found that out, because these are my most expensive, maybe my best headphones!!! That will make me feel better about buying the Sivga PII Planars (eventually)!!!

OK!!!, I listened to this on the HDTV/Sanyo, using the Aphex and the Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX Planar Magnetic Headphones!!!

This is an older recording and the remaster only cleans it up a little, it is just too brittle sounding. The Drop Hifimans toned it down to where I enjoyed picking apart the different sounds!!! They attempted to make this sound like a live album by mixing in crowd sounds and that alone should tell you that the sound could be a little edgy??? I thought I liked the bonus tracks a tad better and oddly, they really were live tracks??? But I enjoyed it and it is a classic from the Haight-Ashbury hippie scene!!!

BloNo Sunday Night!!! Nirvana: Live at the Paramount [Blu-ray]

OK!!!, I watched this on the HDTV/Sanyo using the Aphex and the Dekoni Blue Planars!!!

Is it better than the Nirvana: Live at the Paramount Blu Ray??? Yes, the Blu Ray has some synch issues that ruin it once you know where they are!!! The sound was excellent but more of a wall of sound due to being outdoors!!! The Video was good for a DVD!!! The video on the Blu Ray was better except for the synch issues??? I ended up turning the sound down a little, I think I had it too high for awhile, it is very dynamic. There are more songs on the DVD and I think I had a slight preference for the DVD set list??? I enjoyed it very much!!!

OK!!!, I listened to this on the HDTV/Sanyo using the Aphex and the Meze 99 Neos!!!

I think my CD predates the Remaster having got it in the 80s??? It sounded really good, it is a joy to listen to these musicians!!! I found that the other non Top 40 songs were pretty good as well which I don’t think I was aware of before. And one song highlights Sting’s eventual interest in poetry which I found interesting!!! I enjoyed this, but I always loved some of these songs!!! I think you would prefer the remastered version but I can’t prove it, but the Amazon comments generally favor the Remastered version???

OK!!!, I listened to this on the HDTV/Sanyo, using the Aphex and the Mackie MC 450s!!! It looked and sounded good for a DVD!!! The actual visual show was excellent, up there with Us+Them except being a DVD instead of a Blu Ray??? At first, I thought it sounded a bit bright, especially after using Planars for awhile. But I ended up enjoying all the sounds Prince made, the screaming and all the falsetto squeaks and squeals (like James Brown and Al Green)!!! I also enjoyed following his guitar work, he was a genius!!! The other musicians were really good and I think I enjoyed the details with the Mackies!!! I was very impressed with this and it was mostly material that I am less familiar with but enjoyed very much!!!

The Dark Side of BloNo!!! Pink Floyd – Live at Pompeii (Director’s Cut) (DVD)

OK!!!, This Blu Ray is the best Concert Video I have ever seen!!! I watched it on the HDTV/Sanyo using the Aphex and the Dekoni Blue Planars!!! I was absolutely in AWE of both the sound and the visuals on the disc!!! Was it better than Pulse ??? Yes, it was a Blu Ray instead of a DVD!!! The Laser Light Show was great on Pulse, but this was much more complex using Light, Colors, props and even some laser lights!!!

Now it is easier to deviate a little creatively when you are titled, Roger Waters, as opposed to Pink Floyd (less Waters) trying to sound like Pink Floyd!!! I really liked Waters versions of some tracks from Animals (which I have as a CD and will review eventually) It was refreshing because it was a tad different from the Studio versions, mainly by not tryimg to out Gilmour, Gilmour and being creative!!! This was a very dynamic Blu Ray and you want to leave some room for when it gets really loud like on Us+Them and the Dark Side of the Moon. I thought the saxophone player actually out saxophoned the Studio musician on the original??? The fans must actually be Roger Waters fans because they knew the words to Water’s own material which I as a Floyd nut do not??? The material from Water’s solo efforts fit in well and I enjoyed everything I heard!!! I really enjoyed this, and for now this is the Blu Ray I would use to show off the equipment!!!

103.3 WZND Saves BloNo From Christmas Music!!!

Well!!!, I tuned into 100.7 on Thursday night, November 4th and found they had gone to Christmas Music 24/7??? Contrary to the Fox News fantasy War on Christmas, Christmas Music tends to be the Poster Step Child of Elevator Music!!! I am not a Scrooge and am a Christian, but I have never paid a dime for Christmas Music after maybe the Chipmunks Christmas album when I was in Grade School (if that)??? I like many of the Artists who have done them, I have just never shelled out any money for it and that speaks for itself!!! You get enough of this crap without actually going out looking for it???

So any way!!!, I go back to the WR 12, trying to find some other station that plays an Ethnic Top 40 format (Hip Hop Rap) and looked at the comments on the Puter on the 100.7 Facebook page!!! Stations in Decatur and Champaign were mentioned as possible replacements but I did not find either of them. I did however find 93.3, the Drive and the Stereo light on the WR 12 was strong and steady and it sounded good??? But I would probably have used 101.5 WBNQ had I not found 103.3 WZND!!! The sound was good. I thought the Mackie MC 25os might have sounded better than they did on 100.7 and that means I will have fun with the more expensive headphones soon!!! I feel bad, 100.7 was a good station, and I can’t see how changing formats doesn’t mean bad ratings and revenue, which bodes poorly for a return to the format later??? But I listened to 103.3 on the WR 11 SE and it was mostly Rap and Hip Hop during the day on Friday and what they played Thursday night was really right up my alley so I take that and move on???
